Dr. Mehmet Oz is calling out what many conservatives have suspected for years. The massive Medicaid and Medicare fraud running rampant in Democrat states is not just the product of incompetence, as reported by Just The News.
According to Oz, it is an intentional political feature that benefits blue state machine politics while robbing taxpayers blind.
Oz, now serving as President Trump’s top official overseeing Medicare and Medicaid, revealed Thursday that his agency has shut down hundreds of shady hospice centers while uncovering staggering levels of welfare manipulation.
The scope of the corruption is so deep that billions of dollars in taxpayer funds are being siphoned into fraudulent operations that Oz says are “features” of the liberal way of governing.

“I do think it's a feature for some of these states,” Oz told Just the News, describing the fraudulent Medicaid scams as politically convenient for blue state leaders who prioritize optics over accountability.
He noted that the Vance-led administration, working with President Trump, had recently frozen 1.3 billion dollars in Medicaid dollars bound for California due to evidence of systemic fraud.
Oz did not hold back when describing the abuse and neglect of federal funds. He said his agency alone is bleeding roughly 100 billion dollars a year in fraud, waste, and abuse.
That number is so large, he explained, that eliminating the problem could double the life expectancy of the Medicare trust fund.

The revelation puts into perspective how much taxpayer money is being stolen to prop up the pet projects and political schemes of Democrat-run states.
“If we just fix that, just give you an affordability context, it will double the life expectancy of the Medicare trust fund,” Oz said.
“So if you're out there working your tail off, hoping one day Medicare will be there for you to catch you in your older years, it’ll double the life expectancy of that program.”
Oz described the system’s corruption as a breeding ground for deep rot that was never confronted until now.
“It highlights the reality that the fraud had actually created such a deep corruption, such a deep rot in the system, that when someone finally began to take action, they all scurried like rats into the corners. They never thought anybody would come after them,” he remarked.
Oz pointed to New York as a prime example of the intersection between politics and systemic fraud. In that state, he said, the top “job” is personal care, service attendant.
The problem is that these jobs often go to unlicensed and unsupervised individuals who are being paid by taxpayers to perform tasks like carrying groceries or taking people to appointments.
It is, he said, a government-funded welfare racket rather than a legitimate care network.
“The No. 1 job in the entire state is a personal care service attendant,” Oz explained.
“What does that mean? These are services that your family would do for you.”
He added that the employment statistics are padded because these unregulated jobs qualify people for Medicaid funding, helping governors claim job growth without actually building the economy.
Oz then explained the kicker that ties it all together. When New York’s leadership sees rising unemployment, they can use these taxpayer-funded programs to “create jobs” with federal money, while dodging the responsibility of paying unemployment benefits.
They even get to collect taxes on those wages. In other words, blue state politicians have hacked the federal safety net system to maintain power and pad their own budgets.
One of the biggest beneficiaries, Oz noted, is organized labor. “The unions got permission to unionize these people. Everybody's getting money through Medicaid,” he said.
It is a vicious circle of taxpayer cash flowing into Democrat coffers through politically connected unions and public sector workers, all disguised as social compassion.
Oz also revealed that the hospice scam crackdown exposed a more sinister layer of fraud involving foreign criminal networks.
“Think about how much money that is going to, in this case, organized criminal endeavors, the Russian mafia,” he said.
The scheme has led to millions being stolen by international criminals who then convert their haul into gold bullion and attempt to flee the country with suitcases full of taxpayer money.
He pointed out one notorious case where scammers stole 58 million dollars before being caught. “They bought gold bullion. They know how to invest, put it in their suitcases, and they were fleeing back to their native country when we caught them,” Oz said.
What Oz and the Trump-Vance administration are doing is not just an audit; it is a purge of decades of political manipulation and bureaucratic negligence.
It exposes how Democrat leaders have treated Medicaid like a political slush fund and a job program for their union allies.
While conservatives have been warning about this level of corruption for years, Oz’s new findings put numbers and names to what was once brushed off as conspiracy talk.
The blue states are getting rich, the Democrats are getting votes, and the taxpayers are getting robbed. Dr. Oz, however, seems determined to end that cycle for good.
