A New Hampshire woman says Planet Fitness canceled her gym membership after she raised concerns about seeing someone she believed was male inside the women’s locker room at a Concord location.
Judy Walcott, a longtime member of the gym located on Fort Eddy Road in Concord, told Fox News Digital she felt unsafe after the April 11 incident near the shower area of the women’s locker room.

“I was shaking. Like I was actually trembling because it freaked me out that bad,” Walcott said.
According to Walcott, she immediately reported the incident to an employee at the front desk, but claimed she was told there was nothing staff could do because of company policy.

She also alleged no employee checked the locker room while she was there.
Walcott said she returned four days later to raise the issue again because she still had safety concerns. She claimed another employee interrupted her during the conversation and accused her of being “transphobic.”
“She showed concern until I started telling her that there was a creepy guy in the ladies' shower on Saturday, nobody checked him out... then before I could say anything else, she interrupted me, telling me she ‘thought’ she knew who I meant and what a wonderful woman that is,” Walcott told Fox News Digital.
Walcott said the conversation escalated, and she eventually left the gym. A few hours later, she said the gym manager contacted her and informed her that her membership had been canceled for a “policy violation.”

“So I asked her what policy did I violate? I didn't violate a policy; I asked about one. She didn't answer me,” Walcott said.
Walcott later discovered what she described as a cancellation request form in her online account dated April 15. The form reportedly listed the comment “Nondiscrimination Trans.”
Walcott alleged she never authorized the cancellation request and believes her signature was forged.
According to Walcott, she returned to the gym on April 17 after noticing she had still been charged for another month of membership fees.

She said she attempted to use the remainder of the membership but argued with the manager over a refund after being told her membership had already been canceled.
Walcott claimed the manager refused to refund her and contacted the police.
Concord Police later confirmed to Fox News Digital that Walcott “was formally trespassed from Planet Fitness, 89 Fort Eddy Rd” on April 17.

Walcott said she has since contacted the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office and plans to file a consumer complaint.
“What does it take? Are we being sacrificed in the name of inclusion?” Walcott said.
Planet Fitness states on its website that members who identify as transgender may use locker rooms, bathrooms, showers, and other facilities based on their self-reported gender identity.
The company also says it aims to maintain an “inclusive gym environment.”
Fox News Digital reported that Planet Fitness did not respond to multiple requests for comment.
