Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, a man once hailed as “America’s Mayor” for his unflinching leadership after 9/11, has been hospitalized in what his team describes as critical but stable condition.
Friends, allies, and even political rivals are rallying around him with prayers and praise for his lifelong dedication to public service and his toughness under fire.
Ted Goodman, Giuliani’s longtime strategist and co-host of his livestream program, announced the hospitalization on X, calling on Americans to pray for the man who stood tall through some of the country’s darkest days. Goodman emphasized what many already know about Giuliani — that he’s a fighter. “Mayor Rudy Giuliani is currently in the hospital, where he remains in critical but stable condition,” Goodman said.
Supporters online quickly responded with well wishes and prayers, remembering Giuliani’s courage and grit that defined an era of American resolve.

Goodman added, “We do ask that you join us in prayer for America’s Mayor Rudy Giuliani.”

President Donald Trump, Giuliani’s close friend and political ally, weighed in on Truth Social with characteristic candor.
“Our fabulous Rudy Giuliani, a True Warrior, and the Best Mayor in the History of New York City, BY FAR, has been hospitalized, and is in critical condition,” Trump wrote. The president did not hold back on his frustration with how the left and mainstream media have vilified Giuliani over the years.
“What a tragedy that he was treated so badly by the Radical Left Lunatics, Democrats ALL — AND HE WAS RIGHT ABOUT EVERYTHING!” Trump declared, adding his belief that Giuliani was targeted for exposing the corruption surrounding the 2020 election.

Trump’s passionate defense struck a chord with many conservatives who view Giuliani not just as a former mayor but as a symbol of resilience and principled leadership.
To Trump’s supporters, Giuliani’s ordeal highlights how far the political establishment and liberal media have gone to discredit anyone standing in their way.
Current New York City Mayor Eric Adams, through his spokesperson Todd Shapiro, offered a rare moment of bipartisan respect.
“On behalf of Eric Adams, we are wishing strength, good health, and a full recovery to Rudy Giuliani—a man who devoted his life to public service,” Shapiro said.
He acknowledged Giuliani’s role during 9/11 when he guided New York City and the nation through grief and chaos with calm and confidence.
“From his years as a federal prosecutor to leading New York City through its darkest day on 9/11, he stood with this city when it needed him most,” Shapiro added.
The statement from Adams’ office was seen by many as a sober recognition of Giuliani’s legacy that transcends politics — something increasingly rare in today’s polarized environment.
Shapiro admitted, “Public service at that level demands sacrifice, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to the people you serve. Whatever differences may exist, those contributions deserve respect.”
Giuliani’s current health battle comes just months after he survived a serious car accident in New Hampshire.
That accident occurred after Giuliani helped a woman fleeing a domestic violence situation.

According to authorities, Giuliani stopped to offer assistance and called 911 before being struck from behind while traveling home later that night.
He suffered a fractured thoracic vertebrae, cuts, and bruises, but made what his spokesman at the time called a “tremendous recovery.”
Michael Ragusa, Giuliani’s spokesman and head of security, assured the public in that earlier incident that it was “not a targeted attack.”
Giuliani, even while injured, reportedly kept his trademark humor and determination intact during recovery.
Ragusa added, “We ask everyone to respect Mayor Giuliani’s privacy and recovery, and refrain from spreading unfounded conspiracy theories.”
Today, as Giuliani’s team closely monitors his condition, Americans across the spectrum are remembering his decades of public service, from bringing down the mafia as a federal prosecutor to restoring order and safety to New York City in the 1990s.
His “broken windows” approach to policing made the city dramatically safer and laid the groundwork for a crime decline that his successors could only hope to maintain.
For conservatives, Giuliani’s battles have always symbolized something greater than mere politics.

He took on entrenched corruption, tackled crime head-on, and faced relentless smears from a media class more interested in takedowns than truth.
His bravery on 9/11 earned him the permanent title of “America’s Mayor,” and even his critics cannot dispute the strength he’s shown in the decades since.
As he lies in a hospital bed, Giuliani’s resilience remains undoubted. His allies describe him as fighting “with the same level of strength” that has defined every chapter of his life.
Supporters are mobilizing prayer chains across social media, calling for unity behind a man who has never backed down from doing what he believes is right.
For many, this moment is not just about one man’s health struggle but about a lifetime of service, grit, and courage... traits that define the American spirit.
Whether one agrees with his politics or not, Rudy Giuliani’s legacy stands as a reminder of what real leadership looks like when times are tough and the stakes could not be higher.
