Wisconsin Democrats appear to be facing their own political nightmare, and her name is Francesca Hong.

The Madison state representative and self-proclaimed progressive darling is now openly talking about a world without prisons, police, or accountability.

Her idea of “public safety” sounds more like open season for criminals and chaos for law-abiding citizens.

As if her past calls to defund the police were not extreme enough, Hong told voters that her “perfect world” would be one with no prisons.

Trump's Sovereign Wealth Fund: What Could It Mean For Your Money?

She made the comments earlier this month during a campaign event and then doubled down in a follow-up interview, where she insisted the idea represents a “long-term vision.”

In other words, she wants Wisconsin voters to believe that dismantling law enforcement and eliminating prisons is just forward thinking.

Even some Democrats are whispering behind the scenes that Hong’s fantasy of a prison-free paradise could destroy their chances in the governor’s race.

Leaked internal comments reveal real panic in the party, and for good reason.

Wisconsin is not San Francisco, and voters here actually expect laws to be enforced.

Hong seems completely unmoved by criticism.

Instead of walking back her remarks, she has clarified them in the same way radicals always do, by saying the media just does not understand the “context.”

But no amount of wordplay can change what she said: that her “perfect world” has no police and no prisons.

To normal people, that sounds like a perfect world for violent offenders.

In her CBS 58 interview, Hong tried to spin her dream of ending police and prisons as a plan for social progress.

She argued that massive government spending on social services would somehow erase crime.

Under her logic, murderers and rapists will simply stop their evil once taxpayers give them enough free programs. Anyone with common sense knows that is pure fantasy.

Hong’s platform includes aggressive action against law enforcement agencies she does not like.

During a previous controversy, she suggested calling in the National Guard to detain federal ICE agents who enforce immigration law in Wisconsin.

Now she wants to turn the entire state into a safe haven for illegal immigrants while emptying the jails that still hold violent criminals.

The radical left has rewarded her recklessness. She has already earned endorsements from far-left socialist organizations that praise her prison abolition stance.

To them, releasing criminals and outlawing the police is what “justice reform” looks like.

For average Wisconsinites, it looks like the total collapse of public safety.

Hong’s worldview seems pulled straight from the playbook of urban activists who have never dealt with real crime.

She sells the fantasy that more government spending will replace moral responsibility and law enforcement.

She does not mention the victims who will suffer when repeat offenders roam free, nor does she address what will happen to neighborhoods when crime spikes.

WATCH:

Wisconsin voters are not buying it.

The state backed President Trump in 2016 and again in 2024 because people here value safety, accountability, and law and order.

They see through Hong’s socialist rhetoric and understand that communities become weaker when criminals are empowered instead of punished.

No one doubts that Wisconsin can improve its justice system, but Hong’s vision is not reform, it is anarchy.

The idea of eliminating prisons is not compassionate; it is deadly.

The only people who would celebrate such policy are those who already plan to break the law.

Every sane voter knows you cannot keep families safe by treating violent criminals as victims.

If Hong somehow wins the Democratic nomination, she will hand the race to the Republican candidate on a silver platter.

Voters will not risk their lives and livelihoods to indulge another socialist experiment passed off as progress.

Wisconsin families deserve a leader who defends them, not one who dreams of dismantling the very system that keeps them safe.

Francesca Hong’s campaign should alarm every voter who believes in order, justice, and common sense.

Her proposals echo the same destructive talking points that gutted cities nationwide under the so-called “defund the police” movement.

The result was always the same: more victims, fewer officers, and shattered communities.

Hong may cloak her ideas in progressive language, but the outcome would be chaos.

Wisconsin has a choice to make.

Will it follow the lawless path of failed liberal cities, or will it stand with leaders who still believe criminals belong behind bars?

For the sake of public safety, prosperity, and sanity, Francesca Hong must be stopped at the ballot box.
