A 71 year old Air Force veteran was murdered in broad daylight on his own front porch, and the gruesome crime was caught on his Ring doorbell camera.
Randy Witten, a highly decorated veteran who served his country faithfully across multiple wars, was gunned down while hanging decorations outside his home in West Point, Utah.
His killer turned out to be an illegal alien who should never have been allowed to set foot in this country in the first place.
According to the Department of Homeland Security, the alleged murderer, Axel Eduardo Chavez Marroquin, is a Salvadoran national who first crossed the border illegally in 2021.

Instead of being deported, he was released into the United States by the Biden administration.
The administration’s reckless policies effectively put this violent criminal into the same communities that law abiding Americans call home.
DHS reports show Chavez Marroquin was arrested twice in California for domestic violence incidents, and both times he was turned loose by so called sanctuary officials who ignored repeated detainers filed by Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Their decisions, celebrated as compassionate by left wing activists, paved the path for this horrific tragedy.

“Following his release, he went on to commit this heinous murder,” said Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis.
“This illegal alien should’ve never been allowed on our streets, and James Witten should still be alive today.” Her words pierce through the bureaucratic doublespeak that often hides the devastating cost of Biden’s border chaos.
A BIDEN-RELEASED ILLEGAL ALIEN MURDERED AN AIR FORCE VETERAN.

The details are chilling.
On May 30, a maroon Honda Civic pulled up across from Witten’s home.
Chavez Marroquin allegedly stepped out, walked toward the unsuspecting veteran, and opened fire at point blank range.
Reports say he fired at least ten shots into Witten’s back.
The camera on Witten’s front door captured the entire sequence, including the killer’s calm return to the car as if he had done nothing out of the ordinary.
Police in Las Vegas arrested Chavez Marroquin and charged him with multiple crimes, including murder with a dangerous weapon, discharge of a firearm causing serious injury, and obstruction of justice.
He has since been transferred to Davis County Jail in Utah where ICE has again lodged an official detainer.

“ICE is now asking officials in Utah to commit to not releasing this criminal from jail and to work with ICE so that we can remove him from our country,” said Bis.
“Reckless sanctuary policies in states like California are putting American lives at risk.”
That line cuts to the heart of the issue. This tragedy was not random. It was preventable.
Randy Witten’s life story reads like that of any American hero who quietly served his nation with honor.
Over a twenty year military career, he served in Vietnam, Desert Storm, and Grenada.
He was stationed in Germany, Sicily, Texas, and Kansas.
His dedication earned him the Meritorious Service Medal, the Air Force Commendation Medal, and the Good Conduct Medal with five devices.
Yet after facing danger overseas, he ended up murdered on his own porch by someone who should have never been in his neighborhood.

Americans are tired of hearing political elites claim that their open border policies are somehow humane.
There is nothing humane about the murder of a decorated veteran.
There is nothing just about ignoring federal immigration detainers.
And there is nothing compassionate about protecting criminal illegals while citizens pay with their lives.
The left continues to champion sanctuary laws and lenient immigration enforcement as moral victories.
Meanwhile families like the Wittens are left to mourn the loss of loved ones killed by violent offenders who slip through a broken system deliberately weakened by political ideology.
If a nation cannot defend its citizens within its own borders, then public safety becomes an illusion.
This case is more than another crime story. It is a symbol of the disastrous consequences of Biden’s willful negligence on immigration.
Every time an illegal alien repeat offender walks free despite ICE detainers, another American life hangs in the balance.
Witten’s execution, caught on camera, is a haunting reminder that the consequences are deadly and deeply personal.
Grassroots Americans are not asking for miracles.
They are demanding competence.
They are demanding justice.
They are demanding that their government place citizens above criminals and secure the border now, before more innocent people like Randy Witten fall victim to preventable crimes.
