United States forward Folarin Balogun has joined Klutch Sports following a breakout World Cup that heightened his visibility both on and off the field.
Klutch announced on Monday that Balogun had become part of its roster. The agency was founded by Rich Paul, longtime business partner of LeBron James, and it represents James, Anthony Davis, Jalen Hurts and A'ja Wilson, among others.
Balogun was one of the standout performers for the United States during the tournament. He scored three goals while Mauricio Pochettino's side reached the round of 16 before losing to Belgium.
Playing for Monaco, Balogun was also involved in one of the World Cup’s largest controversies after receiving a red card against Bosnia and Herzegovina in the round of 32. The suspension of that red card allowed him to play against Belgium.

Rich Paul shared his thoughts on the move, saying, “Folarin Balogun is one of the most talented and influential players in global football today.”
Paul continued, “His relentless ambition and cultural impact represent the standard of excellence we hope to continue to bring to the sport.”
He added, “We are incredibly proud to welcome him to KLUTCH and excited about everything we can build together.”
Balogun is the first soccer player to sign directly with Klutch Sports. However, the agency expanded into soccer in 2024 through the acquisition of the European agency ROOF.

ROOF represents players including Malik Tillman, Gio Reyna, Kai Havertz and Mohammed Kudus, as well as several coaches.
The timing of the move aligns with a moment of growing global attention for Balogun after his World Cup campaign. He scored three times in the tournament, which included a brace against Paraguay and a goal against Bosnia and Herzegovina.
His dismissal in the Bosnia and Herzegovina match prompted a political row. The red card was later overturned following a FIFA disciplinary review.
Before this agency change, Balogun had been represented by the UK-based Elite Project Group.
The forward, who previously played for Arsenal, has been mentioned in connection with potential moves back to the Premier League and to other European clubs, although no specific transfer details were announced.
Balogun’s inclusion in Klutch’s client list marks a new step for the agency as it continues its expansion into global football representation. His addition joins a roster already featuring names from basketball and American football.
The combination of his World Cup performances, goals and newfound agency partnership highlights the attention surrounding Balogun’s career trajectory at this point.
Balogun’s three goals and involvement in key matches established him as a major figure for the United States in the competition, further reflected in Klutch Sports choosing to sign him.
The announcement capped an eventful stretch for both Balogun and Klutch, reinforcing their shared interest in expanding their presence within the international soccer landscape.
