Rosie O’Donnell has once again reignited her long-running feud with Donald Trump, declaring that the president is “obsessed” with her.

But even her own therapist has reportedly told her that she is the one who needs to back away from her fixation on him.

The former host of 'The View ' made the comments during her appearance on actress Sophia Bush’s podcast 'Work In Progress'.

The conversation quickly turned to Trump, a topic O’Donnell continues to address across her platforms.

On the podcast, O’Donnell described Trump using a string of insults, calling him an “asshole, liar, megalomaniac, no social skills, no empathy, no compassion.”

She insisted that she would deliver those words to his face without hesitation.

During the conversation, O’Donnell also asserted that Trump is “obsessed” with her and suggested that his alleged fixation may come from his background.

She claimed that he grew up around “tough” gay Irish women, which she said could explain his behavior toward her.

The claim of obsession is not new.

O’Donnell and Trump have been sparring publicly for years, often trading barbs through television appearances and social media posts.

The comedian continues to return to the topic despite guidance to stop.

According to O’Donnell, her own therapist has warned that, for her mental health, she should talk about the president less frequently.

She said she attempted to follow that advice but admitted that both her attempts lasted only minutes before she brought him up again.

O’Donnell explained that she once hoped physical distance might help quell her attention toward Trump.

She left the United States for Ireland, saying she wanted space from what she saw as Trump’s omnipresent influence.

However, she admitted that moving abroad did not ease her feelings or stop her from fixating on him.

Even after relocating, O’Donnell has continued to seek public platforms to criticize the president.

Within recent weeks, she appeared on CNN with host Jake Tapper and repeated her claim that Trump was “obsessed” with her.

She also repeated similar statements during an interview with 'Variety,' echoing the same message.

Her claim of Trump’s attention toward her reaches back years. In fact, as early as 2008, O’Donnell made the same assertion during an episode of 'The View'.

At that time, she said, “The guy, he’s obsessed with me, obviously,” framing herself as the object of Trump’s hostility and fascination.

Yet, while Trump has mentioned O’Donnell in numerous insults and references over the years, the report notes that the comedian has repeatedly talked about him far more often.

She has referred to him in interviews, stage appearances, and on her social media accounts.

Podcast host Sophia Bush kept the conversation open for O'Donnell to express her thoughts in her usual blunt manner.

The appearance served as another chapter in O'Donnell’s continued effort to voice her opinion on Trump’s character and personality.

O’Donnell’s remarks reflect how central Trump remains to her commentary, even now.

Despite guidance from her therapist, her remarks suggest she believes her criticism is both justified and necessary, portraying Trump as someone who cannot stop thinking about her.
