An immigrant from Ghana brought an unmistakably enthusiastic message to President Trump’s rally in Kentucky on Saturday. The African American attendee spoke with Right Side Broadcasting Network before the rally and offered a deeply personal account of his support for Trump.
LMAO! This MAGA patriot is the life of the party at the Trump rally in Kentucky — Democrats cannot STAND he's black
"Do you see how happy he is?" "That is a man who loves his country, who LOVES his president, and LOVES TO DANCE!" This man is LIGHTING UP THE ROOM! Democrats hate this sight. WE are the REAL party of joy — Eric Daugherty (@EricLDaugh) October 17, 2026
The man identified himself as Wisdom Atakuma and said he came to the United States from Ghana nine years ago. He also emphasized that he is now legally a U.S. citizen and tries to do the right thing.
“My name is Wisdom Atakuma. I came from Ghana nine years ago. I’m now a U.S. citizen legally. I’m always trying to be, to do the right thing. You are the greatest leader of our time.”
Atakuma’s praise did not stop there. He told Trump to ignore the political noise, insisted that the president was doing the right thing, and urged him to continue working for the country’s future.

“There’s nobody like you. Avoid the noise. You are doing the right thing,” Atakuma said. His message was one of encouragement, gratitude, and admiration for Trump’s leadership.
Atakuma continued, “You know, everything you are doing, I want to encourage you that— keep doing it for the future of this country and for the next generation that are coming after us. We need to do it for them.”
His remarks then became even more personal. Atakuma said his support for Trump began before he left Ghana, showing that his admiration for the president was established well before he became a U.S. citizen.
“You know, I’m encouraging you. Thank you. I love you so much. You don’t know how much I love you. I started following you in Ghana before I came here.”

Atakuma credited Trump with changing his life and described his circumstances when he arrived in the United States in 2018. He said Trump was president at the time and recalled that things were going well for him.
“You have changed my life. When I came here 2018, you were the president. Things were going on well,” Atakuma said. He then used a stock market comparison to describe what happened to his life after Trump left.
“When you left, my life fall down like a stock market. But when you came back that same year, I bought a house.” Atakuma added that he was already moving toward another major milestone.
“I’m now on my way to get a second home. I’m so grateful for you,” he said. His tribute then shifted into a prayer for Trump’s protection, support, wisdom, and ability to endure attacks from his critics.
“May the Lord, may the Lord keep you. May the Lord provide you. May the Lord support you,” Atakuma said. He followed that prayer with another request for strength as Trump faces hostility.
“May the Lord give you wisdom, knowledge, endurance to endure The pain from the haters.” Atakuma also compared the hatred aimed at Trump with the hatred faced by Jesus Christ for doing what was right.
“They hate Jesus Christ. They hate Jesus because he was doing the right thing. Anything that people hate, meaning what? You are doing something.” Atakuma argued that attacks from haters were evidence that Trump should keep moving forward.
“Haters attack you because you are doing the right thing. Keep doing the right thing. I love you, Mr. President. May God be with you. I can’t wait to see you for the first time in my life.”
Atakuma closed by repeating his gratitude and affection for Trump. “I’m so grateful. I’m so grateful. I love you.”
