Media commentator Megyn Kelly criticized actress Sydney Sweeney over a scene in HBO’s “Euphoria,” calling it inappropriate and raising concerns about the direction of the show’s latest season, as reported by The New York Post.

Kelly’s comments came during Tuesday’s episode of SiriusXM’s “The Megyn Kelly Show,” where she reacted to a teaser released ahead of Season 3.

The preview, which aired as the new season premiered Sunday, features Sweeney’s character, Cassie, in a storyline that appears to involve an OnlyFans-style persona.

“This is sexualizing infancy,” Kelly said.

Kelly described the scene in detail, stating that Sweeney is shown “dressed as a baby … sucking on a binky pacifier” with her “legs … completely spread.”

“I can’t believe she agreed to this frankly and was in this,” Kelly said.

The reaction follows growing criticism surrounding the third season of “Euphoria,” which has drawn attention for imagery that some critics have described as provocative.

The HBO drama, which helped bring Sweeney to prominence, has faced recurring scrutiny over its depiction of nudity and adult themes.

Kelly also criticized the show’s creator, Sam Levinson, during her remarks.

“I think this guy’s sick … Sam Levinson,” she said.

She referenced reports that actors involved in the series have objected to certain creative decisions, including requests for additional nudity.

Several actresses from “Euphoria,” including Sweeney, have previously spoken about concerns related to scenes they felt went beyond what was necessary.

“He constantly wants the women to take their clothes off for, like, scenes that don’t require them to be nude at all,” Kelly said of Levinson.

Kelly framed her criticism within a broader discussion about content in the entertainment industry.

“I think this is another example of Hollywood not understanding at all where the line is,” she said.

“And how most normal people are going to recoil … in response to what’s essentially the sexualization of a child, of a baby.”

The teaser suggests Cassie’s character may shift toward a social media influencer role, potentially involving adult content platforms, according to reports surrounding the upcoming season.

Sweeney has addressed similar concerns in the past, stating in interviews that she has pushed back on scenes she believed were unnecessary. The actress has not publicly responded to Kelly’s latest remarks.

Kelly’s criticism marks a contrast from her previous comments about Sweeney.

During a separate controversy involving an American Eagle advertising campaign, Kelly described the actress as a “real” and “natural” beauty and defended her against criticism tied to the campaign’s messaging.
