Another suspicious ballot drop in the Los Angeles mayor race has suddenly put far left councilwoman Nithya Raman within a single point of political outsider Spencer Pratt.

With roughly 200,000 ballots still left to be counted, Pratt’s once solid lead has almost evaporated.

Observers across California are calling out what they see as glaring irregularities, as county officials continue counting ballots that arrived long after election day.

It seems California’s mail-in voting free-for-all has once again tilted the scales in favor of Democrats.

Karen Bass, the current mayor, already secured her place in the November runoff.

The remaining question is who will join her.

Pratt, a conservative-leaning personality who stunned the political establishment with a bold campaign focused on cleaning up crime and holding corrupt city institutions accountable, was expected to hold his second-place easily.

But in the latest count, his lead has shrunk to just 7,494 votes.

Raman received a surge of late-counted votes, effectively doubling Pratt’s totals in the latest report with 23,514 new votes compared to his 10,336.

Just a day earlier, Pratt had been ahead by nearly 21,000 votes.

Few voters trust that such dramatic swings can happen without help from the Democrat machine that dominates Los Angeles.

Adding to the outrage is the fact that the state continues counting mail in ballots received after election day.

Critics argue this practice opens the door for manipulation since there is no clear chain of custody for ballots that trickle in well after the polls close.

It also delays results for weeks, often shifting momentum toward Democrats as new batches conveniently appear.

NBC’s Steve Kornacki even admitted what was coming during his election night coverage.

He pointed out that Pratt’s strong showing came from early ballots and in person votes, while the late remaining mail ballots would likely lean heavily toward the Democrats.

In his own words, those ballots could make up as much as a third of the total vote.

What a coincidence that every late arriving batch seems to break almost entirely for the left.

Federal prosecutors may finally be taking notice.

First Assistant US Attorney Bill Essayli announced that his office is now engaged in multiple election fraud investigations alongside the FBI.

On Friday he even posted a dedicated email tip line, urging Californians to report suspicious activities related to the vote count.

Assistant US Attorney Robert Renner was also spotted at the Los Angeles ballot processing center observing operations.

Spencer Pratt publicly commented on the situation, expressing disbelief at how votes are being handled and counted.

He demanded transparency, echoing growing frustration across the state. Many Californians are tired of being told to trust a process that seems designed to delay, confuse, and conveniently benefit one side.

California gubernatorial candidate Steve Hilton, who has earned a wide following as a reformer and a Trump endorsed Republican, also ripped into the state’s broken system.

He called the current mail in voting scheme “absolutely shameful for our state” and said California had become a “national and international laughing stock.”

He noted that India, a nation of over a billion people, can count 640 million votes in a single day, yet California cannot count less than 10 million in a month.

Hilton vowed to end limitless mail voting, reinstate a strict requirement that ballots arrive by election day, and allow early counting of verified mail votes so that totals can be reported swiftly and accurately.

It was a common sense proposal that quickly gained traction among conservatives who are fed up with the endless waiting games and mysterious late ballot dumps that always seem to break left.

What is happening in Los Angeles is being watched closely nationwide.

The city has become a symbol of what unchecked progressive governance produces: rising crime, homelessness, skyrocketing costs, and now election chaos.

Many voters who crossed party lines to back Pratt are openly questioning whether their vote even counts in a jurisdiction where the system seems rigged from start to finish.

The Gateway Pundit has been covering these suspicious developments with on the ground reports and data analysis.

For nearly two decades the outlet has exposed bureaucratic misconduct and collapsing faith in the process.

As legacy media outlets in California shrug off the irregularities, independent reporters continue to dig up what establishment journalists refuse to touch.

Whether Pratt holds onto his runoff spot or becomes yet another victim of late ballot manipulation remains to be seen.

One thing is certain, trust in California’s elections is at rock bottom, and each suspicious ballot dump only deepens the skepticism.

The people of Los Angeles deserve better than a system stacked in favor of the Democrat ruling class.
