Billionaire investor and PayPal co-founder Peter Thiel is once again making headlines, and not just for his sharp political instincts or eye for future technology.
A leaked report claims Thiel has quietly hosted an invite-only circle of elites who meet in luxury to discuss topics that sound more like a dystopian novel than a business retreat.
The group, called “Dialog,” supposedly draws together the top brass of Silicon Valley, Wall Street, and government to muse about sex, cult building, and even how World War III might unfold.
According to documents obtained by Wired, Dialog has operated as a private gathering for years under Thiel’s direction, promising anonymity and discretion to participants.

Those promises apparently failed when a cache of internal files surfaced, revealing that the group’s exclusive meetings have included intimate surveys, matchmaker-style networking games, and secret briefings on everything from artificial intelligence to nuclear conflict.
Attendees at this year's scheduled retreat outside Dublin were promised an eclectic mix of programming that reads like a parody of technocratic elitism.
The agenda allegedly featured sessions titled “How’s Your Sex Life,” “Build a Cult,” and “Navigating WWIII.”
Each talk, Wired reported, was framed as an exploration of personal development and global crises through the eyes of those who believe they can reshape civilization.

The same leaked records show that Dialog doubles as a matchmaking service of sorts.
Members could indicate whether they were “looking for love” and join an internal social network designed to build what organizers promoted as “meaningful connections for exceptional people.”
It seems even the wealthiest elites know that big ideas feel more profound when paired with candlelight and champagne.
The amateur philosopher vibe did not stop there.

Participants filled out questionnaires listing their so called talents which ranged from “funhouse construction” to “compassion and existential dread.” They also participated in prediction exercises, forecasting the economic and spiritual shocks that might come with advancing artificial intelligence.
Many warned of mass unemployment, digital terrorism, and even a coming “religious revival” triggered by humanity's struggle to find meaning in an AI dominated world.
Naturally, the leaked database also exposed the star power. Wired claims the list includes major political names such as Senator Ted Cruz and Representative Jim Himes, as well as Palantir co founder Joe Lonsdale.
If accurate, the list stretches across political lines and professions, showing a rare mix of power brokers who prefer quiet influence to open debate.
For 2026, Dialog reportedly logged 222 confirmed guests.
Attendees were sorted into categories such as “active member” and “guest,” a subtle reminder that even among elites there are inner circles within inner circles.
The planned summit runs August 12 through August 16 and appears set to continue despite the media glare.
The gathering's focus on nuclear threats, AI warfare, and the fate of human civilization mirrors Thiel’s long held fascination with existential risk.

The German born entrepreneur has spent decades using his fortune to back futuristic ventures and ideological experiments.
Critics have long accused him of playing philosopher king with technology as his temple. Admirers argue that at least someone is thinking seriously about civilization beyond next quarter's profits.

In recent months, Thiel reportedly moved his family to Buenos Aires, partly out of concern over unstable global politics, taxes, and fears of what he once called “AI driven collapse.”
He previously secured citizenship in New Zealand, a country beloved by doomsday minded millionaires for its isolation.
Reports say he has explored additional second citizenships as possible escape routes should the global order come crashing down.
For someone whose company Palantir built its fortune analyzing data for national security agencies, Thiel seems oddly fond of privacy.
Yet the Wired report paints a picture of conversations that blend Silicon Valley idealism, libertarian paranoia, and social experimentation in equal measure.
It is the kind of club where brainstorming about faith, apocalypse, and romance happens over catered dinners rather than coffee shop debates.
Thiel has spent years warning against globalist overreach, arguing that elites could someday weaponize fear of crises to centralize power in the hands of a “one world” government.
It is ironic, to say the least, that Wired now describes him hosting a quiet network of the very kind of powerful individuals he warns against.
Whether Dialog is a brilliant salon for future planning or a private sandbox for self importance is a matter of perspective.
Neither Thiel nor the other boldface names mentioned responded to Wired’s questions, and The New York Post has likewise sought comment.
Those absent responses may be the clearest signal that this club truly values its secrecy above all else.
For the rest of us, the glimpses inside suggest the familiar pattern of the jet set elite.
They claim to discuss saving humanity while quietly preparing to bail out at the first sign of trouble.

If nothing else, Dialog proves that even in circles built on cutting edge tech and ultra wealth, the oldest motivations remain, power, influence, and a place at the table when the world starts to burn.
