Millie Bobby Brown has shared an emotional tribute following the sudden death of her “Godzilla vs. Kong” co-star Kaylee Hottle, who died at 18 after a car accident in Maryland, as reported by Page Six.

The “Stranger Things” actress expressed her heartbreak in an Instagram Story, posting a black-and-white image of Hottle from their time on the 2021 film.

“I’m so devastated to hear this,” Brown wrote, adding, “You will be deeply missed, Kaylee.”

Brown and Hottle first worked together portraying Madison Russell and Jia, respectively, in “Godzilla vs. Kong.”

They reunited three years later for the sequel “Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire,” strengthening their off-screen friendship during filming.

Rebecca Hall, who also starred alongside the two actresses, shared her sorrow in a statement posted to social media.

“Devastated to hear this news. My heart goes out to your family. You will be missed Kaylee,” Hall wrote, along with photos from the set.

News of Hottle’s death emerged after her father, Joshua Hottle, posted a tearful Facebook video describing his journey from Texas to Maryland to retrieve his daughter’s body.

He explained that authorities had called to inform him about Kaylee’s crash, and soon after, he learned that her heart had stopped en route to the hospital.

According to a press release from the Frederick County Sheriff’s Department, the teenage actress was a passenger in a 1995 Honda Accord that swerved off the road and struck a culvert in Ijamsville at 3 a.m.

The vehicle, driven by a 19-year-old, reportedly lost control after traveling off the side of a two-lane roadway and hitting a ditch.

Officials said “excessive speed is believed to be a contributing factor in the collision,” which is still under investigation by the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit.

Kaylee was transported to a local trauma center, where she was pronounced dead. She had reportedly been visiting the area at the time of the crash.

Emergency dispatchers told Page Six that she was “unconscious” when first responders arrived at the scene.

The car’s driver was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while another passenger declined medical assistance.

Brown’s post reflects the deep sense of loss among those who worked closely with Hottle, who was deaf and had won praise for her talent and presence on screen.

Fans flooded social media with tributes, offering condolences to Hottle’s family and remembering her portrayal of Jia as one of the emotional anchors of “Godzilla vs. Kong.”
