Jelly Roll is out of a Blue Lives Matter fundraiser after the organization withdrew its invitation following what the original headline described as his recent woke turn and Trump bashing. The reversal leaves no ambiguity about his place in the planned event.
Blue Lives Matter initially invited Jelly Roll to appear at the fundraiser.
That plan has now been scrapped, with the organization publicly sharing an update about the withdrawn invitation and the person selected to take his place.
The organization said it has invited Coffey Anderson to fill the slot that had been intended for Jelly Roll.

The update therefore did more than announce a cancellation, since it also identified the replacement chosen for the event.
The move represents a sharp change from the original arrangement.
Jelly Roll went from being invited to participate in the fundraiser to being removed from the lineup, while Anderson received an invitation to step into the newly available position.
According to the original headline, the withdrawal came after Jelly Roll took a recent woke turn and engaged in Trump bashing.
We're DONE. You're FIRED. On April 26, 2026, we made the mistake of sending a formal invitation to country artist Jelly Roll Roll to perform at this year's Second Annual Big Blue Bash at Mar-A-Lago, the home of President Trump.

Those descriptions framed the decision as a response to his recent direction rather than a routine adjustment to the fundraiser.
Blue Lives Matter did not simply withdraw Jelly Roll’s invitation without making another selection.
Instead, the organization turned to Anderson and invited him to assume the same slot, completing the switch announced in its update.
The sequence is straightforward.
Jelly Roll had an invitation, Blue Lives Matter withdrew it, and Anderson was subsequently invited to replace him at the fundraiser.
That update puts Anderson directly into the spot once held by Jelly Roll.
MAJOR update on our decision to WITHDRAW the invitation that we sent to @JellyRoll615 to perform at this year's Second Annual Big Blue Bash at Mar-a-Lago!! We've selected a TRUE PATRIOT to honor those who serve... to pay tribute to the families of wounded and fallen officers...… pic.twitter.com/eRf5Rlvi2I

It also makes the change especially pointed, because the organization named the replacement while announcing that the previous invitation was no longer standing.
The fundraiser remains at the center of the dispute.
Jelly Roll’s expected participation ended after the organization reversed course, while Anderson became the new invitee chosen to fill the opening created by that decision.
The original headline presented the episode in openly critical terms, highlighting Jelly Roll’s recent woke turn and Trump bashing.

Blue Lives Matter’s action matched that framing by removing him from the fundraiser and moving forward with someone else.
No gradual transition was described in the update.
The organization said the invitation had been withdrawn and that Anderson had instead been invited to fill Jelly Roll’s slot.
The word instead is central to the announced change.
Anderson was not presented as an additional participant in the update, but as the person invited after Jelly Roll lost his place at the fundraiser.
For Jelly Roll, the result is clear: his invitation no longer stands.
For Anderson, the update brings a new invitation and the opportunity to occupy the slot that Blue Lives Matter had previously reserved for Jelly Roll.
The decision also turns the fundraiser lineup into a direct before and after story.

Jelly Roll was the original invitee, but Blue Lives Matter reversed that plan and selected Anderson once the invitation was withdrawn.
The organization’s update focused on both parts of the switch.
It acknowledged that Jelly Roll was no longer invited and immediately identified Anderson as the person asked to fill the vacated position.
That pairing gives the announcement its sting.
Blue Lives Matter did not merely distance itself from Jelly Roll after the recent woke turn and Trump bashing described in the headline, but also moved to replace him with another invited participant.
Anderson now holds the invitation connected to the slot Jelly Roll had been expected to fill.
The organization’s decision closes the door on the original arrangement and establishes the replacement plan announced in its update.
The fundraiser will therefore proceed without Jelly Roll in the role for which he had been invited.
