Bartiromo’s attorney, Bryan Freedman, strongly disputed claims that she had been fired or was no longer employed by Fox.

Freedman called those reports “absolutely and unequivocally false” and said her legal team has evidence and witnesses supporting its position.

The controversy grew after reports claimed Bartiromo shared internal Fox communications with the Trump White House.

Those messages reportedly showed network officials instructing staff not to amplify claims about the 2020 election that President Trump discussed during a recent speech.

White House adviser Peter Navarro confirmed key parts of that account.

According to Navarro, Bartiromo booked him for an appearance the following morning, but Fox executives killed the planned coverage before it could reach viewers.

Navarro said Bartiromo then forwarded him a producer message that made the decision official.

The communication, attributed to Fox Business programming chief Ralph Giordano, instructed staff not to promote the speech and not to air segments about the 2020 election on Thursday or Friday.

That sequence raises obvious questions about how much control corporate executives exercise over editorial decisions at Fox.

Apparently, even discussing election concerns became too dangerous for a network that spent years marketing itself as an alternative to the liberal press.

President Trump reacted with disbelief when news broke that Bartiromo would no longer host her programs.

He praised her professionalism, her ratings success, and her willingness to keep fighting when other television personalities preferred safer political scripts.

Fox has not publicly resolved the competing accounts surrounding Bartiromo’s status.

The unresolved details involve whether she voluntarily parted ways with the networks, was removed from her programs, or remains contractually attached while being kept away from viewers.

For Bartiromo’s audience, the legal terminology matters less than the practical result.

A popular host who regularly questioned establishment narratives is suddenly absent, while the network appears increasingly nervous about airing discussions that might upset the political and media class.
