Wild footage captured two Biman Bangladesh Airlines passengers trading punches during a flight to London, forcing horrified travelers, including children and elderly people, to watch the violence unfold inside the aircraft, as reported by The New York Post.

The brawl erupted Wednesday after an argument between the two men escalated, according to dramatic video shared online.

The footage shows the confrontation spilling across passenger rows as nearby travelers remain trapped in the cabin.

One man wearing a black shirt struck another passenger seated in the row behind him. The second man responded, and the pair exchanged a rapid flurry of punches in front of the surrounding passengers.

The man in the black shirt continued swinging during the melee as his clothing was pulled and ripped. Video showed his shirt tearing while the men struggled between the tightly packed rows.

Passenger Uddin Alim described the disturbance as a “frightening situation.”

His account focused on the fear forced upon travelers who had no involvement in the argument and nowhere to escape while the aircraft remained in flight.

The presence of children and elderly passengers made the episode particularly upsetting, Alim said. Families traveling together were suddenly confronted with a violent fight inside a space where simply leaving was not an option.

“What made it even more upsetting was that there were children and elderly people on the flight,” Alim said.

He said those passengers were forced to absorb the fear and stress created by the two men, despite having nothing to do with whatever disagreement sparked the confrontation.

“They had nothing to do with the situation, yet they had to witness this behaviour and deal with the fear and stress it caused.”

Alim also pointed to the uniquely alarming circumstances of being aboard an aircraft during a dangerous confrontation.

Passengers could not simply remove themselves from the area or walk away from the men throwing punches.

“Imagine being thousands of feet in the air, unable to simply walk away from a dangerous situation.”

The episode shattered the basic expectation of safety that passengers carry when boarding a plane, according to Alim. Instead, travelers watched as the argument erupted into physical violence before them.

“Everyone expects to feel safe when they board an aircraft, but suddenly seeing passengers fighting is extremely frightening.”

Alim condemned the conduct and emphasized that innocent children, elderly travelers and families were all present while the brawl played out inside the cabin.

“This kind of behaviour should not happen on an aircraft, especially when there are innocent children, elderly passengers and families travelling together.”

An airline spokesperson said cabin crew aboard the flight, which departed Sylhet early Wednesday, “resolved the situation.”

The spokesperson’s statement confirmed the crew intervened, although the source provided no further details about how the confrontation was brought under control.

The reason for the original argument remains unclear. The available account does not identify what the two men were disputing before punches began flying between the rows.

It also remains unknown whether either passenger suffered injuries during the exchange. The source did not say whether the men received medical attention after the aircraft landed in London.

There was also no information indicating whether either man faced action once the flight reached London.
