Conservative leader Flávio Bolsonaro has been summoned by Brazil’s Federal Police and ordered to surrender his passport within 24 hours. The command came from Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes, whom the original report sharply described as wicked, as reported by Breitbart.
Moraes argues that Bolsonaro could flee abroad to avoid prosecution. The passport order places another immediate restriction on the conservative figure following a presidential election whose disputed result Bolsonaro has refused to accept.
The report contends that socialist President Lula da Silva and Moraes want to imprison Flávio Bolsonaro alongside his father, former Brazilian leader Jair Bolsonaro. It portrays the Bolsonaro family as being punished for daring to challenge Lula and his allies through the electoral process.
The timing only poured more gasoline on an already raging political dispute. According to the report, the passport demand arrived less than 24 hours after a highly controversial election in which polling stations were allowed to remain open late.

Flávio Bolsonaro has called for Sunday’s presidential results to be annulled. After the outcome was announced, he declared the result invalid and accused Lula of stealing the election from him.
Lula called his personal attorney and Brazilian Justice Christiano Zanin to keep polling locations open for two additional hours. That decision became another focal point for conservatives challenging the legitimacy of the announced outcome.
Bolsonaro had been predicted to win by every polling aggregator in the country. The final result therefore triggered an immediate and furious response from Bolsonaro and those who viewed the outcome as another power grab by Lula’s socialist political machine.
Once the result was called, Bolsonaro publicly rejected it. He did not merely complain about isolated problems or request clarification, but instead demanded that the presidential result be thrown out and directly accused Lula of election theft.

Now Moraes is moving against Bolsonaro’s ability to travel, citing the possibility that he may leave Brazil to escape prosecution.
For critics of Lula and Moraes, the progression is chillingly direct. Flávio Bolsonaro contested the election, demanded annulment, accused Lula of stealing the result, and then received an order to surrender his passport within 24 hours.
Flávio Bolsonaro WAS ORDERED to surrender his passport a day after losing to Lula
Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes issued the order, delivered by police as Flávio left his father’s home. The judge cited fears he might flee, partly based on a comment by his brother Eduardo. Flávio denies saying it and calls the move intimidation. After losing an election, he now faces a passport seizure ordered by the same judge who jailed his father. WTF is happening in Brazil?!?! The Bolsonaros’ true offense was opposing Lula in an election and forcing communists to engineer what it calls an obvious steal.
Steve Bannon also weighed in through a demand for the United States to sever diplomatic relations with Brazil’s communist government. The report endorsed Bannon’s position and said both the secretary of state and the president should cut ties with Brazil.
Bannon further warned Americans not to dismiss the alleged election theft as a distant Brazilian problem. His message, as featured by the report, was that anyone believing such election stealing could not reach the United States was gravely mistaken.
The escalating confrontation now centers on Bolsonaro’s passport, Moraes’ flight risk argument, and Bolsonaro’s refusal to accept the presidential outcome. Lula remains in power, while the conservative challenger who denounced the result has been given 24 hours to surrender a key travel document.
