Hollywood’s familiar chorus of left-wing celebrities flooded social media Wednesday to celebrate what they hailed as a “blue wave” on Election Day. Their gleeful reactions followed victories that sent Democrats to Washington, D.C., and governors’ mansions, as reported by Breitbart.

Rosie O’Donnell enthusiastically embraced the results and presented them as a warning aimed at “Trump and his sycophants, his criminal friends.”

Actor John Cusack delivered one of the most profane reactions on BlueSky. He posted, “Texas South Carolina Say fuck you to Trump.”

Cusack quickly followed that message with another vulgar celebration of the results. “Trump and Musk getting the shit kicked out of them in Texas and all over the country,” he exclaimed in the second post.

Late-night comedian Jimmy Kimmel also rushed to celebrate the outcome. He took to his set and gleefully told his audience how wonderful Election Day had been.

Oscar winner Barbra Streisand framed the victories as a rejection of President Donald Trump and his conduct. Her BlueSky declaration credited the American people with turning against Trump and claimed both chambers of Congress had changed hands.

“The American people have shown they are tired of the corruption and lying of Donald Trump. The House has flipped and the Senate as well. Democracy has prevailed,” Streisand wrote.

Streisand’s post carried a November 4, 2026, timestamp of 4:26 AM. Her celebration centered on the claims that Americans had rejected Trump and that democracy had emerged victorious.

Mia Farrow, the star of Rosemary’s Baby, was equally ecstatic in her own BlueSky reaction. She celebrated the result as the voice of the public and listed an array of issues that she said voters had opposed.

“We the people have spoken. We love our country. We voted against the corruption, cruelty, tariffs, unaffordable everything, war, lies, neglect, bullying. Yay!” Farrow wrote.

John Leguizamo brought his own triumphal tone to X, celebrating what he described as redemption and repudiation.

“We did it! You did it! Redemption time! Repudiation time! Checks and balances and watch dogs! We must fix this cesspool” Leguizamo wrote.

The Chicks also incorporated the election result into their public appearance. The former country band once named the Dixie Chicks opened its show in L.A. with an elated response to the outcome.

Former Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star Chris Meloni used his X account for a lengthy attack on Trump. His response challenged the idea that Trump was in touch with Americans and pointed to the election result as evidence to the contrary.

“But enabling a convicted felon, alleged pedophile, and an inept bullshit artist IS in touch…? You think a guy who inherited EVERYTHING and was considered a buffoon and con man in his own industry IS in touch?…. I think America, tonight, thinks otherwise. So, who’s outta touch?” Meloni wrote.

Radio and podcast host Charlamagne tha God used the election moment to attack both Trump and MAGA voters. His reaction joined the wave of celebrity commentary celebrating the Democratic victories while directing anger at the president and his supporters.

Carrie Coon, an actress from The Gilded Age, also weighed in on the result. She accused Republicans of being “corrupt,” adding another celebrity rebuke to the cascade of posts.

Across BlueSky, X, television, and a concert stage, the celebrity reactions shared an unmistakably triumphant tone. Streisand and Farrow praised voters, while Cusack, Meloni, Leguizamo, O’Donnell, Kimmel, Charlamagne tha God, Coon, and The Chicks delivered their own celebrations and attacks.
